If we split in Gujarat and Bengal, India will not survive, there is a need to be one at this time - Arvind Kejriwal | Find Your Advocate |
On a day when India set a new record of 3.32 lakh Covid cases in 24 hours, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with the chief ministers of the ten states hardest hit by the deadly second wave of Covid. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal emphasized the crippling oxygen crisis in the capital's hospitals in an interview. "Please sir, we need your guidance," Mr. Arvind Kejriwal said to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
At first, the conduct
of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal during the meeting has enraged Prime
Minister Narendra Modi. He used strong words for Kejriwal during the meeting
itself. You have violated a very critical protocol, he addressed Delhi's Chief
Minister. Such private discussions are never made public. The PM's rebuke drew
CM into the can, where he apologized with folded hands.
Arvind Kejriwal, the
Chief Minister of Delhi, has asked for the transportation of oxygen from
various states to Delhi to be as smooth as possible. Delhi Chief Minister
Arvind Kejriwal has urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to intervene in the
matter of Delhi's oxygen supply and further he added
“You have always been
supportive of me, and we have always followed your orders. This time, we
implore you to take immediate action, or else a major disaster in Delhi could
occur. My phone continues to ring, and doctors provide me with oxygen updates.
Delhi receives oxygen from only a few states; hence, I suggest that you contact
the Chief Ministers of those states and request that they refrain from
interfering with transportation. "Your one phone call is enough,"
Arvind Kejriwal, the Chief Minister, said.”
He also mentioned that if one army truck escorts oxygen tankers
from one state to another then the tankers will not be stopped well as he
pointed out some more solution like he hailed the
one-nation-one-rate scheme for the vaccine.
