  •  A bench of Chief Justice, Sanjeev Banerjee and Justice Senthilkumar Ramamurthy scolded the election Commission.
  •   According to the High Court, Election Commission officials are to blame for the second wave of the Coronavirus. In such a case, why not file a murder charge against Election Commission officials?

 



 

Tamil Nadu cabinet’s minister and MLA of AIADMK from Karur, MR Vijay Bhaskar has filed a case in the High Court of Madras, On behalf of Vijay Bhaskar it was said that only 2 counting rooms have been made for the counting of 77 candidates in Karur. No space was given for counting in the corona work.

When the Election Commission’s counsel told the judges that all necessary steps were being taken, the bench said that it had cleared the way for the outbreak of the second wave of Covid-19 by allowing political parties to hold rallies and meetings. The judges verbally warned that they would not hesitate to stop the counting of votes on 2 May. If the Commission does not prepare a blueprint by May 2 to ensure adherence to the Corona Protocol, vote counting will be prohibited immediately.

Further, the bench said Election Commission is singularly responsible for the second wave of Covid-19. Constitutional authorities have to remind such things. Only when a person survives he will take part in the festival of democracy. The High Court asked the officials that were you on another planet when big rallies were taking place?
