According to Section 354D IPC, Stalking is -

1)Continuously following a female or contacting her,

2)Either on-line or in person.

3) Where she has virtually proven she would not need the attention

*** It is punished with the aid of using 3 years for a primary offence, and 5 years for repeat offences.
